FBI: Records On Cronkite Destroyed In 2007
The Federal Bureau of Investigation has admitted destroying records on the late Walter Cronkite in October 2007 when the CBS News anchorman was still alive but ailing. The admission was in response to a request by USA Today to obtain the records under the Freedom of Information Act after Cronkite died in July at the age of 92....Source
