Tasered Groom Sues Sheriff’s Department
A groom who was Tasered on his wedding day by a sheriff's deputy in Colorado is suing the sheriff's department. The incident happened in August of 2007. Robert Griffin says he had a two-year statute of limitations, and if he waited any longer, he would miss his day in court. So he filed the lawsuit on Monday, CBS station KCNC-TV reported. Griffin says he had a permit to rent a portion of Clement Park in Littleton for his wedding. He got into a verbal argument with a park employee over where he parked his car.
