Man Doused Drinking Buddy With Tequila, Set Him on Fire
A Westbury man doused his friend with tequila and lit him on fire as they argued over whether he could sleep over to recover from a day of drinking, Nassau police said Monday. Epigmenio Garcia, 24, of Sullivan Lane, was charged with felony assault and misdemeanor weapons possession in connection with the Sunday attack, which left the victim, 24, with burns over his face, neck, ears and hands, police said.
