Serial Speeder Caught Waving At Speed Camera, Six Time in Nine Days
Robert Jones, 47, was filmed grinning and giving a thumbs-up sign as he sped past the roadside camera. A court heard Jones believed he would escape prosecution by registering his Renault Clio in the name of his 13-year-old daughter. Jones then “openly mocked” the speed camera set up in a 30mph zone outside a village school. The roadside speed camera took six photographs of Jones grinning and waving as he sped past “putting children’s lives at risk”.
