Couple Parks Too Long, Gets $9.5 Million Parking Ticket
A parking ticket can ruin anyone’s day, but imagine one attached with a bill for more than $9.5 million. That’s what recently came in the mail for Barbara and Lee Mitchell of Glencoe. The Village of Glencoe’s notice, dated Sept. 30, detailed the offense: parking longer than allowed in the 300 block of Tudor Court in downtown Glencoe in late August.
