Police Find Border Tunnel, Has Lights, Elevator, And AC
The Policia Estatal Preventiva-state police in Mexicali arrested eight men Monday afternoon in a corner home located on 134 Callejon Madero, just two blocks south of the international border fence. Police say the men were digging a tunnel that was headed towards Calexico, California. Currently, all are being detained at a local police department to determine what charges they will face. State Police say at about 2 p.m. a concerned citizen called police and said there was suspicious activity at the corner home.
