State Park To Close Due To Trees
The popular Oswald West State park is closed, a victim of falling trees and threatened campers, and it isn’t certain if it will open to camping again. Idaho camper Derrick Stiegemeier said he understood but was disappointed. “When is the last time anyone was killed by a falling tree?” he asked. This is straight up about as crazy as it gets. I especially like when the camper asks when the last time someone was killed by a falling tree, with a detectable note of sarcasm, only to find it was about a month ago. Just plain nuts.
