Man Faces Foreclosure For Not Paying Parking Ticket

This one’s nuts, they foreclosed on his house because he never paid a $50 parking ticket from back in 2004. I have outstanding tickets in three states, guess I need to get that taken care of pretty soon here…

It’s a shame. If you have a car and can’t tag it, where are you supposed to park it if not in your driveway? Not everyone has garages or decent enough sized yards… and heaven knows roofs aren’t always stable enough to hold a car. I think they should limit the amount of vehicles, tagged and or untagged. Yes he should have paid the fine, but if they take his house and sell it, I beilieve they should owe him the difference of it’s worth minus the fee. But the world doesn’t always work that way.
