Police hang a quadriplegic man
It’s a good thing they gave him $80,000 for the way the cops treated him. But it seems that awarding him the money from the city for not training the police to deal with handicapped people is the wrong justification. “Oh, we weren’t trained so we thought the best way to search him was to hang him upside down”, give me a break!

That story made me sick. How can the police perceive this man as a threat? I’m surprised he was awarded only $80k. What happened to the offending officers? The attached story didn’t say.
